Unfortunately, the Village News has encountered a lot of problems in publishing/printing this year and consequently it has not been produced for over a year. Following the recent resignation of the editor it is hoped that a new team can get together some form of village newsletter which may lead on to a proper village magazine at a later date.
Recent events held in the village included a well attended Quiz Night in aid of Village Hall funds and a commemorative "Sports Day" in memory of Ray Newton, who had always been such a staunch supporter of many village activities.
The Parish Council are hoping to organize a "Bulb Planting Hour" along the banks of the recently cleared stream on October 28th (11.30 - 12.30) - this is the morning after the clocks go back, so what else would you do with that extra hour?
