Dates from 1840 and is a structure that had fallen into a state of complete disrepair. A nineteenth century Victorian seat, purchased in 2005 allows the visitor to look along the pavilion path to the sundial, metal seat and balusters in the distance. The garden is characterised by these types of vistas.

The restoration of the garden was completed on the 8th July 2005 and to celebrate this event, the ceiling of the pavilion has been painted with the main constellations that would have been seen when looking out of the door at midnight on that day. There is also an allegorical pencil drawing entitled 8th July 2005 together with the main interpretation board and a curious mirror window, designed from an early description of the original.
