Climate change is the greatest threat facing civilisation today. Uttlesford District Council is committed to addressing the causes and effects of climate change within our district. The Council is a signatory to the Nottingham Declaration on Climate Change and have a protocol of joint working with our neighbours Braintree District Council. The Council has developed a comprehensive climate change strategy explaining the case for action, our objectives, targets, successes so far and plan of action.
