The Lord Butler Fitness and Leisure Centre originally opened its doors to the general public in 1984. In 1992 the teaching pool was added to the existing building to compliment the services provided to the local community. Then in 2003 following the successful PFI Contract implementation into Uttlesford District, a further £1m was invested to upgrade the existing facilities to achieve the standards they are today. The Centre not only boasts 'State of the Art' fitness facilities but also environmental controls, to help compliment our environment. |
