Sustainable Homes Network
Energy efficiency, renewable energy technologies, water recycling and other measures can make your home more sustainable and cheaper to run. But what do these methods involve? Where can you get the products? How much do they cost? The Sustainable Homes Network, brought to you by Sustainable Uttlesford (Uttlesford Local Agenda 21), helps people answer these questions.

The network:
- Has regular meetings/presentations to show people the different things they can do to green their home and give advice on how to do it
- Keeps you up-to-date with new products and developments
- Puts you in touch with people and organisations who have experience with sustainable technologies

About Sustainable Uttlesford (Local Agenda 21)
Local Agenda 21 is worldwide initiative set up following the Rio Earth Summit in 1992. Its purpose is to enable voluntary community action to protect the environment: "think globally; act locally". Local Agenda 21 groups are hosted by local authorities, but involve private individuals, businesses and other organisations. Sustainable Uttlesford is the name for the Uttlesford group of Local Agenda 21.
