Stansted Airport Generation 2 Airport Access from M11 and A120 - Publication of an Environmental Statement by Secretary of State for Transport

The Secretary of State has published the Environmental Impact Assessment for the proposed Airport access from the M11 and A120. Please see the attached Notice for details.

The council's copy of this document is on deposit at our Saffron Walden offices and can be viewed between 8.30am and 5pm Monday - Thursday and 8.30am and 4.30pm on Fridays.

Airport access from M11 and A120- Preferred Route

The Secretary of State for Transport has made a preferred route announcement for airport access from the M11 and A120.

A hard copy of the announcement and The Scheme Assessment Report can also be viewed at our Planning Information Desk at the Council Offices London Road Saffron Walden.

Draft Compulsory Purchase Scheme - Airport Access from M11 and A120

The Highways Agency has produced a draft scheme and orders for the compulsory purchase of land in connection with Airport Access from M11 and A120.

Representations and objections can be made to The Secretary of State for Transport, Highways Agency, Major Projects Directorate,Woodlands,Manton Lane, Manton Industrial Estate, Bedford MK41 7LW,

Fao Anna Smyth quoting HA 65/2/134 no later than 26th June 2008.

The Highways Agency will be holding a public exhibition on their proposals at The Charis Centre, Water Lane, Bishops Stortford on 28th March 2008 from 2pm until 8pm and 29th March 2008 from 1-am until 4pm
