Gypsies and Travellers

Gypsies and other Travellers make up a small proportion of the British population with distinctive cultures, characteristics and accommodation needs.

There is a great deal of information on Essex County Council's website for any traveller, or anyone with an enquiry relating to travellers.

There is an Essex County Council traveller site located in the District at Felsted accommodating families on 17 plots. For further information, Essex County Council has published a full list of all the traveller sites in the county with contact details for the manager of each site.
