Use this link to access the applications search

Details of individual applications back to 1989 can be viewed using this search.

If the application reference number is known enter this into the reference box and click on "search" (there is no need to enter any other information).

If the application reference number is not known the other search fields can be used to find this. For example by selecting a parish a list of all applications for that parish will be shown back to 1989, the latest applications being at the top of the list.

When viewing full details of an individual application there is a facility to enable comments to be submitted directly by clicking 'comment on this application' at the top of the chosen application page.

Documents will appear on the site within 5 working days of the receipt of the valid planning application.

Please Note: All comments made on planning applications must be made available for public inspection (which can include by electronic means) if they are to be taken into account prior to a decision being made on an application. The Planning Inspectorate have introduced an online appeals service. Should an application go to appeal the Inspectorate may publish your comments on the internet (via the appeals section of the Planning Portal). Your comments may include personal details such as your name, address, email or phone number. Please ensure that you only provide information, including personal information belonging to you that you are happy will be made available to other in this way. If you supply information belonging to a third party please ensure you have there permission to do so. More detailed information about data protection and privacy matters is available on the Planning Portal.

Plans, drawings and material submitted to the council are protected by the copyright acts (section 47, 1988). You may only use material which is downloaded and/or printed for consultation purposes, to compare current applications with previous schemes and to check whether developments have been completed in accordance with approved plans. Further copies must not be made without prior permission of the copyright owner.

The application search information is updated daily.
