What The Project Will Do

Bringing something interesting to somewhere near you?

Our project aims to enable more people to get more enjoyment out of the district's heritage and the Museum's collections. An Outreach Programme from the Heritage Quest Centre to Uttlesford communities will provide new opportunities for using our collections, providing a sense of history, landscape and place. 

Some events will take place at the Centre, but we also want to take activities and displays to other venues, especially to rural communities away from Saffron Walden.

We especially want to involve young people and families with children, but hope to provide something for all ages and interests.

The project will last for three years, and could start in 2007 if we are successful in reaching our funding targets quickly.
