Drop in and pick up a trail that will help you find the plants and animals that show Spring has arrived in the Museum and grounds.

An exhibition about life in the times of our great-great grandparents.

 

 

Sunday 11th May : Out and About with Archaeology

Objects from the Museum   on display at Little Hallingbury.

 

 

Saturday 17th May. The Museum will be open from 10am – 10pm

Victorian Day – Celebrating Museums and Galleries Month – May 2008

Punch and Judy at 11.30 am in the Museum or grounds depending on the

weather, and Magic Lantern Shows in the afternoon and early evening for

families and adults. Plus a chance for families to bring a torch and explore

the Museum by torch-light in the twilight.

Saturday 28th June 11am – 4pm  Highlighting National Insect Week

Beekeeping and live bees in the observation hive with the Saffron Walden Division of the Essex Beekeepers. Honey for sale.Also displays about insects in the Museum from 23rd June.

National Archaeology Day: Positively Prehistoric!

Re-enactors camping in the grounds with Iron Age and Bronze Age activities.

 

 

Saffron Crocus on sale in the Museum £3 for 10 from mid-August. 

Orders taken from Easter. Postage on ALL advance orders at 50p for 10.
