How three bin recycling works

The wet recycling bin (brown lid) is collected each week.  On the same day either the dry recycling (green lid) or non-recyclables (black lid) is collected.  These collections take place on alternate weeks and the recycling calendar shows which week which bin is collected.  The kerbside collections start from 7am so bins need to be put out by then.

On these pages you can find out everything you need to know about three bin recycling â€" or you can refer to 'The guide to recycling in Uttlesford,' which has been sent to every household in Uttlesford.
