The Parking Service
Uttlesford District Council is responsible for the enforcement of parking regulations in the District, such as yellow line restrictions and on-street parking. Decriminalisation of parking allows Uttlesford District Council, acting as agent for Essex County Council, to take over the enforcement of parking regulations in the District from the Police.
Uttlesford also manages a number of Pay & Display and free car parks. Included in this area of the website are car park location maps and details of parking for coaches.
