Explore Uttlesford's Draft Local Plan through new interactive Story Map

Uttlesford District Council has developed a new interactive online resource to highlight the key issues and opportunities within the Draft Local Plan.

The illustrated Story Map sets out the local priorities in a way that's easy to access and digest. It contains a series of maps and images, as well as links to the policies which will guide future development within the district up to 2033.

The Story Map is accessible via www.uttlesford.gov.uk/lpstorymap.

It is hoped the resource will help residents and businesses to stay better informed about the Plan, and assist those wanting to make comments during the consultation period.

The quickest and easiest way to give feedback to the current consultation, which seeks views on the site allocation proposals and policies, is via www.uttlesford.gov.uk/draftplan2017.

Responses can also be submittedby email to planningpolicy@uttlesford.gov.uk or by post to: Planning Policy Team, Uttlesford District Council, London Road, Saffron Walden CB11 4ER.

Comments must be made by 5pm on Monday 4 September 2017.

Hard copies of the Draft Local Plan are available to view at Uttlesford District Council's Offices in Saffron Walden, Thaxted Community Information Centre, and libraries and mobile libraries.

Two unstaffed information points which provide a more general overview of the draft Local Plan are available to view during normal opening hours at Great Dunmow Library and at the District Council's Offices in Saffron Walden.
