The event is FREE to attend and will take place on Wednesday 21 February, 6.30-8.30pm, at the Council Offices in London Road, Saffron Walden.

Community led housing (CLH) is an umbrella term for housing that is owned or managed by the community on a not-for-profit basis. The term encompasses a wide range of models such as community land trusts, development trusts, self-build and cohousing.

These models are set up by people who have an ambition to meet the housing needs of their parish, and at their heart are the principles of affordability, sustainability and democracy.

Further details of how these models can provide homes that are affordable can be found on the council website at www.uttlesford.gov.uk/community-led-housing.
