Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner election 2021

Roger Hirst has been elected as the Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner for Essex.

Adrian Pritchard, the Chief Executive at Colchester Borough Council acted as the Essex Police Area Returning Officer (PARO) for the PFCC election on Thursday, 6 May 2021. He had overall responsibility for co-ordinating and running the election across the whole of the county, although local Returning Officers at district/borough level have responsibility for overseeing arrangements in their areas.

 

Results of poll

The count took place on Saturday 8 May, and the overall results were announced by Colchester Borough Council.
