Volunteering opportunities in Uttlesford

There are numerous voluntary groups in the district supporting a wide range of organisations.

Uttlesford is a diverse community with a wide range of voluntary groups helping with anything from running day centres to looking after local churches. If you have time or skills that you think might be of benefit to the community why not put them to good use as a volunteer. You can contact many groups directly, or there are a number of local organisations that help to coordinate voluntary work.

Uttlesford Community Action Network

Uttlesford Community Action Network (UCAN) was previously known as the Council for Voluntary Service Uttlesford - or CVSU. It is a registered charity whose primary mission is to support communities to thrive, and to improve the quality of life of people in Uttlesford.

UCAN enables volunteers to work with organisations that need volunteers in order to operate effectively. If you're an organisation that's looking for volunteers then UCAN will help you to find the people that you need. If you're someone that's looking to give your time, UCAN can help you find the perfect role.

You can find all the latest volunteering opportunities on the UCAN website.
