Awards launched to celebrate Uttlesford's business community
Uttlesford District Council is delighted to announce the launch of the Uttlesford Business Awards 2023.
The aim of the awards is to recognise innovation and excellence within Uttlesford.
There are 12 awards up for grabs across three categories:
- Enterprise Uttlesford
- Innovation Business
- Uttlesford Rising Star
- Online Business
- Community Impact
- Go Green Uttlesford
- Environmental Impact
- Reduction of single use plastic
- Energy Saving
- Green Construction
- Showcase Uttlesford
- Made in Uttlesford
- Taste of Uttlesford
- Retailer of the Year
- Health & Beauty
Cllr Neil Reeve, Portfolio Holder for Economy and Investment, said: "We're proud to launch these awards, to celebrate the hard-working businesses and individuals in our district and the value they bring to our communities. We would encourage people to enter or nominate anyone who they feel deserves to be noticed for their approach to business."
The business awards are free to enter, and online applications are now open.

Closing date for entries is Sunday 19 February.
The winners will be announced at a series of award ceremony events with networking opportunities.
