Senior Planning Officer (Development Management)

Salary Grade 8 - starting salary £33,437

The ideal candidate for this post will preferably be a Chartered Town Planner with a positive "can-do" approach to development who is able to work with minimum supervision, support the Team Leader and mentor and assist in the development of other team members. The post requires handling a varied caseload including very large development planning applications.

This post would also be ideal for Planners wanting to develop to a senior level in their career.

Finance Officer (25 hours)

Salary Grade 5 Starting Salary £23,398 (pro rata)

Uttlesford's finance team are responsible for all the financial functions and cover all aspects of financial accounting, from processing invoices to producing the final accounts. An exciting opportunity has arisen within the team for a Finance Officer to contribute to the effective operation of the Council's Purchase Ledger processes and provide administrative support to the finance team .

Plumber Level 2

Salary Grade 5 Starting Salary £23,398

We are looking for an experienced plumber to work on a domestic reactive response repairs contract in the Uttlesford area. You will be provided with a company van and the work will involve carrying out repairs and maintenance to tenanted and void properties in the district.

This post is based at our Newport Depot. You will need to have experience of domestic water & heating repairs plus kitchen & bathroom installations.

Repairs Planner

Salary Career Grade 4/5 Starting Salary £20,661

We have an exciting opportunity for you to become a Repairs Planner in our Housing Property Services department. You will already be experienced in customer services and be customer focused and results driven.

As a key member of our team, you will support the delivery of high quality responsive repairs, voids works and cyclical repairs services within the relevant area of operation. Organised and methodical, and able to work on your own, you will be responsible for the allocation of works to operatives and/or contractors. It is essential that you have a positive approach and the ability to remain composed under pressure.
