Statement of Licensing Policy 2022-2027 consultation
We are consulting on a revised statement of licensing policy to set out how we will carry out our duties as required under the Licensing Act 2003.
Under Section 5 of the Licensing Act 2003 the licensing authority is required to prepare a statement of principles that they propose to apply in exercising their functions under this Act.
We are required, by law, to review and publish a revised policy every 5 years.
The draft policy
We have now written a draft Statement of Licensing Policy for 2022-2027 and we want your comments on it.

Following the consultation
Any comments you make will help us to put together the final version of the statement.
We will then present the final version to the Licensing and Environmental Health Committee for approval.
