We have a small number of allotments.
 

Apply for an allotment

You can contact us to:

• find an Uttlesford District Council allotment near your home
• see if plots are available
• see how many people are on the waiting list

Remember, an allotment needs time (about 5 or 6 hours a week over the year) and commitment.

How much it costs

Each plot is charged per rod (about 5 metres length). 

The plots vary in size. The size of the plot and price you will pay annually will be confirmed when you receive an offer from us.

Apply for an allotment with your local council

Some town and parish councils also have allotments that you can rent.

Contact your local council to apply for an allotment near you. They will either allocate you a plot or, in many cases, add your name to a waiting list.
