Replacing your electricity meter

Ofgem is advising householders that they need to replace their old Radio Teleswitch Service (RTS) meters before support for the service is turned off at the end of June.

You may have a RTS meter if you heat your home using electricity or night storage heaters, or you get cheaper energy at different times of day.

Your electricity supplier should get in touch to arrange an upgrade to a smart meter before this deadline. If you have not yet heard from them you should contact them immediately.
