New grants schemes open for community buildings upgrades and play equipment
Two grants schemes to support voluntary groups with upgrading community buildings or paying for new play equipment are now available.
Applications are welcome from properly constituted voluntary organisations or similar bodies in Uttlesford, with grants of up to £10,000 available to repair, upgrade or address accessibility issues in community buildings, and to create new or upgrade existing play areas.
The grant must be used for capital expenditure only and projects must be completed by 10 March 2025.

The closing date for applications is midday on Thursday 5 September.
These grants have been made available as part of the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.
