Free forum offers helpful advice for landlords
An information and support session will be held online for private sector landlords.
Uttlesford District Council's annual Landlord Forum, in partnership with the National Residential Landlords Association (NRLA), will take place on Tuesday 8 February, from 6pm to 7pm.
There will be two presentations: Paul Collins from the National Inspection Council for Electrical Installation Contracting will give an overview on how to decipher an electrical safety certificate; and a representative from the NRLA will talk through what is changing within the world of the landlord and what landlords should be keeping an eye out for in the next 12 months.
The council's Environmental Health Officers will also be on hand to offer support, and there will be time for questions and answers after each presentation.
The virtual event is free to attend and is open to all landlords within the private sector including those who may have no more than one or two properties in their portfolio.
Registration is essential - visit www.nrla.org.uk/events/meetings/4849 to register.
