The council
The political make-up of the council is: 22 Residents for Uttlesford councillors, 11 Conservative Party councillors, 4 Liberal Democrat councillors, and 2 Uttlesford Independent Group councillors.
Cllr Petrina Lees is Leader of the council and Cllr Martin Foley is Chair of the council 2024-25.
Uttlesford District Council has 39 councillors representing 22 wards.
