Action! Film crew visits Great Dunmow
Great Dunmow shops, venues and Mayor filmed on location.
Great Dunmow was the subject of an on-location film shoot on Thursday (3 March). A professional film crew with a local PR agency filmed shops, people and open spaces on behalf of Uttlesford District Council.
The council has commissioned a series of short videos featuring Great Dunmow, Saffron Walden, Thaxted and Stansted Mountfitchet as part of its 'Discover Uttlesford' marketing campaign.
The marketing campaign comprises a bespoke website - www.discoveruttlesford.co.uk - and a mobile app, launching soon, alongside a number of marketing promotions all designed to drive footfall back into Uttlesford town centres, by showcasing independent shops, places to eat and drink, things to do and regional heritage. The video films will be launched at Easter and featured on the website and across social media.
The professional crew filmed proprietors at Chameleon Café, Luckins Wine Store, Scarlett & Stone, Wardrobe, Square 1, The Shopkeepers Store, Flitch & Chips and the Rose Garden. Talliston House and Gardens and the Gardens of Easton Rose will also be featured.
The films feature an introduction from Dunmow Mayor, Cllr Patrick Lavelle, who was filmed in Market Square. Each film showcases Dunmow including 'The High Street', 'Open Spaces' and 'Surprise Places'.
Award-winning local PR and marketing agency sarahBee marketing ltd is managing the marketing campaign to promote Discover Uttlesford to both potential visitors as well as the region's SMEs in retail, leisure, hospitality, food and drink.
There will be a virtual launch of the Discover Uttlesford marketing campaign on Wednesday 9 March for interested parties to attend.
