District By-Election - Great Dunmow South and Barnston
A District Council by-election took place on Thursday 5 January 2023 for the Great Dunmow South and Barnston Ward.
Polling took place at Barnston village hall; the United Reform Church Hall and the ET Foakes Memorial Hall in Great Dunmow from 7am to 10pm on Thursday 5 January.

Standing for election - post-election candidate requirements
The candidate (PDF, 18 KB) and agent (PDF, 18 KB) must by law submit a declaration with their expenditure incurred.
The spreadsheet (Spreadsheets, 89 KB) must be completed and returned to the Proper Officer marked for the attention of the Electoral Services Manager with the Declarations by Thursday 9 February, even if it is a "nil" return.
There is no requirement in law for the Proper Officer or his team to check these, just receive them.
