EV cargo bike hire

We've teamed up with OurBike to provide a community e-cargo bike that will be available for hire by local businesses.

Cargo bike

As part of the Saffron Walden Clean Air project we are piloting a community e-cargo bike scheme.

About the project

OurBike is an e-cargo bike share scheme allowing residents and businesses to hire an electric cargo-bike by the minute.

How it works

The OurBike can be booked through the app for just £3 an hour!

Each OurBike is assigned to a local business (called a host) who make sure the OurBikes remain ready for action for their local community. In Saffron Walden the OurBike can currently can be found in Market Place.

From April the bike will be moving to the Railway Arms in Station Road, Saffron Walden. The Railway will be the new hosts for the scheme.

Find the Railway Arms on a Google map

If you are a resident or a businesses you can hire the bike for making deliveries, transporting large goods or bringing your shopping back from the market.
