Landlords can pick up advice at annual forum

A one-stop shop of information and support will be available for private sector landlords at a special event later this month.

Uttlesford District Council's annual Landlord Forum will take place on Tuesday 21 November from 5.30pm-7.30pm at the offices in London Road, Saffron Walden.

A wide range of service providers will be on hand to share their knowledge and expertise in topics such as energy efficiency, legislation, and the impacts of Universal Credit.

Landlords will be able to visit information stands from the likes of the Department for Work and Pensions, Airport Lettings and Neighbourhood Watch, as well as from officers from the council's Housing Services, Benefits, and Environmental Health teams.

There will also be an opportunity to meet with other landlords and agents to raise and discuss any issues.

The event is FREE to attend, and is open to all landlords within the private sector including those who may have no more than one or two properties in their portfolio.

There is no need to book or to reserve a place. Free parking is available from 5pm onwards.
