Community transport

Uttlesford District Council, along with Essex County Council, provides funding to Uttlesford Community Travel, a charity formed in 1997 to provide transport to disabled, elderly or isolated residents of the district for whom public transport is unsuitable.

There are currently more than 700 individuals who make use of the service provided by Uttlesford Community Travel, as well as around 100 groups, who use the service to transport individuals to meetings and classes.

You can find out a lot more about Uttlesford Community Travel and apply to join as an individual or join as a group on their website.
