Bulky household waste - what can be collected

Check the list of items we can collect before making a booking. If it is not on the list, we will not be able to collect it.

 

We cannot accept dirty BBQs, fridges, freezers, cookers or other items for disposal.

 

What we can collect

Armchairs (except electrical recliners)

Bathroom fittings - sinks, baths etc. but NOT cast iron baths

BBQs - not fitted and no gas pipes connected

Beds/mattresses

Bedside tables

Bicycles

Carpets, rugs and underlay (per item and per room)

Chairs

Cooker/hob/oven (except Aga and range cookers)

Computers

Cupboards- not fitted

Dishwashers

Drawers

Electrical appliances (vacuums, lamps etc.)

Fridges (except American style)

Freezers (except American style)

Garden furniture

Garden shed - must be dismantled and any glass windows removed. We cannot collect sheds bigger than 8ft x 6ft (2.4m x 1.8m)

Ironing boards

Kitchen units and fittings (sinks, draining boards)

Microwaves

Non-fitted furniture

Non-petrol lawnmowers

Sideboards

Sofas (except electrical recliners)

Tables

Trampolines - must be dismantled

Tumble dryers

TVs

Wardrobes - if fitted they must be dismantled

Washing machines

Wood, including pallets

Wooden internal doors
