Procurement privacy notice
This privacy notice is provided for clarification on what information the council needs in order to do business with you.
It is necessary for the council to gather, collect, store and process personal information when you are working for us as a consultant, contractor or supplier or when we are considering a contractual relationship with you such as when you submit a tender. The council puts measures in place to protect the privacy of individuals throughout this process.
As a public authority, the council takes your rights and freedoms seriously and will only release information when required under law or with your consent. Information we may collect
The personal data we collect from you includes:
- name
- company address and postcode
- telephone details
- email addresses
- CVs
- company accounts
- company bank or building society details
- Unique Taxpayer Reference (UTR)
We may share the information with
The data we collect may be shared with:
- other departments of the council
- other councils
- government departments such as HMRC; DWP and the Cabinet Office (as part of the National Fraud Initiative)
- Police
