are based upon CIPFA guidance with amendments to reflect the council's requirements.
They apply to every member and officer of the council and anyone acting on its behalf.
All members and officers have a general responsibility to provide for the security of the assets under their control, and for ensuring that the use of resources is legal, properly authorised and achieves best value.
