Work experience (work placements)
If you are looking to get some experience of working for a council and want to develop your skills, then you could think about a work placement with Uttlesford District Council.
You may be surprised to find that local government has an enormous range of jobs and opportunities. Working for a council provides a great starting point for your future career, wherever it may take you.
At Uttlesford District Council, we want to support people within the local area by offering work experience opportunities wherever possible.
Your placement will may be for a couple of days or a week and during this time you will be able to get an insight into processes, procedures and gain valuable hands on experience. Unfortunately, we cannot always offer placements depending upon the time of year and what other work we have on.
