Free Dr Bike workshop
Is your bike in need of some TLC? We will give it a health check and make any minor repairs it needs.
You'll need to reserve a place to have your bike fixed.
Family led rides and bike riding confidence sessions
Boost your confidence on the road with these accompanied bike riding sessions starting from Saffron Walden Market Place.
Each led ride lasts for approximately 2 hours from 10:30 am to12:30pm. All children must be accompanied by an adult (max of 3 children to one adult.)
Learn to ride sessions
Starter sessions for anyone who wants to learn how to ride a bike safely.
These are beginners sessions for all ages, but children are particularly welcome. Each session lasts 45 minutes and will be held in the Market Place.
You will need to book onto the session you wish to join.
Learn to ride session 10am - 10:45am
Learn to ride session 11am - 11:45am
Learn to ride session 12pm -12:45pm
Learn to ride session 1:15pm - 2pm
Learn to ride session 2:15pm - 3pm
Sunday 9 June - community bike ride and picnic in Saffron Walden
When: 12pm - 4pm
Where: The Common, Saffron Walden
Community bike ride and picnic
Stalls, music, food trucks, bike operators and much more. This will be a large big bang event, come along, take part and have fun.
Bring your bike along as we'll also be organising a short family friendly bike ride.
