Take part in clean air survey and be in with a chance to win £100 voucher

Uttlesford District Council is carrying out a survey to find out about the issues concerning Saffron Walden residents and what they think about local air quality. It will also help the council to understand how people are heating their homes this winter.

The responses to this latest survey will help inform the work to improve air quality for everyone who lives or works in Saffron Walden.

The survey, designed by the charity Global Action Plan on behalf of the council, is open until Wednesday 7 February. It should take around 5 to 10 minutes to complete. To thank residents for their time, all participants can enter a draw to win one of three £100 vouchers at the end of the survey.

Residents can take the survey from 25 January, at: www.surveymonkey.com/r/SWCleanAir.

Over 800 people responded to a similar clean air survey last summer as part of the council's wider Saffron Walden Clean Air Project, which includes school education projects, anti-idling and active travel initiatives, and a campaign to raise awareness of the impacts of domestic wood burning on peoples' wallets, health and the environment.
