It's okay to ask for help: New social outreach service for Uttlesford

A new multi-agency service to support people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, or who have been affected by the criminal justice system, will be launching in the district next week.

The social outreach service is being delivered by a range of organisations - Mind in West Essex, Peabody, the Terrence Higgins Trust, Phoenix Futures, Open Road, Essex Sexual Health Services and the Uttlesford Community Safety Partnership - who will be providing cost of living, mental health, housing and addiction services.

The service starts on 29 February, from 10am to 2pm, at the Saffron Walden Community Link, and will then run on the last Thursday of each month.
