Dates set for multi-agency Neighbourhood Roadshow in 2024

The dates have been announced for this year's multi-agency Neighbourhood Roadshow which brings a wide range of support services to the doorstep of council tenants and residents.

This year, agencies including Active Essex, Citizens Advice, Community Agents, Essex County Fire and Rescue Service, Essex Library Service, Essex Police, Neighbourhood Watch, NHS Talking Therapies, Peabody, Spangles Family Hub, Touchpoint Foodshare, Uttlesford Community Action Network, Uttlesford Foodbank, and United in Kind will be taking part.

Uttlesford District Council officers will also be on hand to give information on benefits, housing and communities.

Neighbourhood Roadshow dates and venues for 2024

·       Wednesday 15 May, 10.30am - Hyll Close, Great Chesterford CB10 1QF

·       Tuesday 11 June, 10.30am - Barkers Mead, Little Hallingbury CM22 7SN

·       Wednesday 10 July, 2pm - The Green, Saffron Walden CB10 2DS

·       Tuesday 6 August, 10.30am - Church Gardens, Dunmow CM6 2AX

There will also be some neighbourhood drop-in sessions covered by a small team:

·       Tuesday 16 April, 10.30am - Mailers Lane, Manuden CM23 1DP & Gawlers, Berden CM23 1AL

·       Tuesday 23 April, 11am - Pickeneys, Chrishall SG8 8QP

·       Tuesday 30 April, 11am - Cranham Road, Broxted CM6 2BT

Last year the roadshow, which is organised by Uttlesford District Council's Housing team, visited Ashdon, Birchanger, Elsenham, Stansted, Hatfield Heath, Dunmow and Felsted. Fifteen organisations were represented, with 600 free bags containing lots of useful information handed out to residents and numerous referrals made to other support services - everything from magic mindfulness sessions for children to wellbeing referrals.
