Wheelie great news for Saffron Walden! Come and join our bike ride and picnic which is open for the whole community this weekend.
Taking place on the Common from 12pm to 4pm on Sunday (9 June), there will be lots of exciting things to do for all the family with stalls, free children's activities including balance bike, bike marking by Essex Police, food trucks, live music and much more.
· Grab a bite to eat- enjoy the sun and listen to live music whilst grabbing a bite or drink from the likes of Saffron Ice Cream, Waffle + Co, Bonnefirebox, Deadtime, the Cross Keys and Truckhiato.
· Family-friendly community bike ride - join us at 1pm for a guided ride through the town. Whether you're a seasoned pro or a biking newbie, pedal alongside our friendly cycle trainers. Everyone is welcome.
· Dr Bike workshop - if your bike is in need of some TLC, our bike doctors will give it a FREE health check and make any minor repairs.
· Come and try our bike hire schemes
If that wasn't enough, there will be a pop-up film screening of the cycling-themed comedy Breaking Away (rated 12A) at Saffron Walden Town Hall later on, starting at 5pm. Book your tickets from www.saffronscreen.com.
