Improvements planned to local car parks
Improvement works are being planned in November for four Uttlesford District Council car parks to carry out repairs and enhance the visitor experience.
The proposals for Crafton Green and Lower Street car parks in Stansted Mountfitchet, White Street car park in Great Dunmow and the Common in Saffron Walden include filling pot holes, making a more level surface at the ticket machines and repairs to a wall.
Crafton Green car park works start on Monday 18 November and are planned to be completed by Tuesday 19 November.
White Street car park works will start on Wednesday 20 November and should be completed by Thursday 21 November.
The Common and Lower Street car park works will both be carried out on Friday 22 November.
All the car parks will remain open whilst the works are carried out but there will be some restrictions in place and a number of parking bays will be unavailable.
