How to apply for a one-off community grant.

If you are a properly constituted voluntary organisation or similar body in Uttlesford you can apply for a grant of up to £3,000 to fund pilot projects and services or for a one-off event.
 

How much you can apply for

You can apply for a:

  • small grant of up to £500
  • large grant of £501 to £3,000

The closing date for applications is midday on Friday 21 February 2025.
 

Who can apply

The grant is available to properly-constituted voluntary organisations or similar bodies in the Uttlesford district.

Your organisation must:

  • be non-profit making, constituted organisations
  • have the legal right to carry out the proposed project/activity
  • have a bank account with a minimum of 2 signatories. None of the signatories should be related by family or by marriage, nor should they be co-habiting

What you can apply for

You can apply for funding for:

  • pilot projects and services
  • one-off events

More weight will be added if applicants can show that their project includes collaboration with other organisations such as:

  • town and parish councils
  • community groups
  • the voluntary sector
