Private Water Supplies Privacy Notice

This privacy notice is provided for clarification on how the council will manage the information you provide about private water supplies.

It is necessary for the council to gather, collect, store and process personal information relating to private water supplies. The council puts measures in place to protect the privacy of individuals throughout this process.

  • Telephone numbers
  • Email address
  • Number and ages of residents

  • Other departments of the council
  • Government departments such as the Drinking Water Inspectorate and Environment Agency
  • NHS and UK Medical Agencies e.g. GP practices
  • Police
  • Health & Safety Executive
  •  Essex County Council
  • Trading Standards
  • Essex Fire and Rescue
