on the

Submission draft Stebbing Neighbourhood Plan 2019 - 2033

Notice is hereby given that Stebbing Parish Council submitted a draft Neighbourhood Development Plan to Uttlesford District Council under Regulation 15 of the Neighbourhood Planning (General) Regulations 2012 (as amended).
 

Consultation on the 'Plan Proposal'

In accordance with Regulation 16, Uttlesford District Council commenced consultation on the submission draft Stebbing Neighbourhood Plan on Monday 19 July 2021.

A revised version of the National Planning Policy Framework (NPPF) was published by the Government on 20 July 2021.  This replaces the previous NPPFs published in 2012, 2018 and 2019. One of the Basic Conditions the NDP is assessed against is national policy and guidance, of which the NPPF is an important component and given this change in circumstances the consultation period shall be extended by a short period (two-weeks) for additional focussed consultation.

Comments are invited from those who live, work and carry out business in the area on whether the 'plan proposal' as submitted (the draft Plan and supporting documents) fulfils the Basic Conditions required by Paragraph 8(1)(a)(2) of Schedule 4B to the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 (inserted by the Localism Act 2011).

  • We regret that due to on-going limitations associated with Covid-19, we will not be making hard copies of the Plan available for viewing at either the Council Office, London Road, Saffron Walden or at other venues in Saffron Walden.

Written comments only (preferably using the ) should be sent by email to: planningpolicy@uttlesford.gov.uk or by post to: Planning Policy, Stebbing Consultation NP Consultation', c/o Ms Demetria Macdonald, Planning Policy, Uttlesford District Council, London Road, Saffron Walden, Essex, CB11 4ER. to arrive by no later than 5:00pm on Tuesday 28 September 2021.

It will not be possible to accept late representations.

All comments received will be forwarded on to the appointed Examiner. You should not assume that there will be a further opportunity to introduce new information, although the Examiner may seek clarity on certain matters.
