After you have made an appeal

What to do if you disagree with the appeal decision or want to complain about the standard of service provided by the Planning Inspectorate.

The Planning Inspectorate (on GOV.UK) will check your appeal to make sure it's valid. They'll tell you what happens next and how long your appeal may take.

The Planning Inspectorate will then consider your appeal. You can find out how long an appeal might take on GOV.UK.
 

If you disagree with the appeal decision

You can challenge the decision in the High Court if you think the Planning Inspectorate made a legal mistake.
 

Complain about how the appeal has been handled

If you think the Planning Inspectorate has not provided an adequate standard of service for your appeal you can make a complaint.
