Uttlesford Draft Local Plan consultation closed
Uttlesford District Council's six-week consultation on the Uttlesford Draft Local Plan has now closed.
Over 1,000 individual respondents commented on the plan, many of whom submitted multiple representations. All the comments received will be processed and then made available to view later in the new year.
Cllr John Evans, Portfolio Holder for Planning, thanked all those who responded to the consultation. He added: "The next stage of the process, after careful consideration of all the consultation responses, will be to produce the version of the local plan the council would propose to submit to the Secretary of State. This is expected to be published next summer, with submission to the towards the end of 2024, and the examination taking place in 2025."
