Annual canvass update
Canvassers will be out and about in the district knocking on doors in the district.
Today is the start of our door knock canvass, so you will see personal canvassers out and about chasing up non-responding households.
We just need a return so we know if we are missing anyone to be registered or to remove someone who is no longer resident.
Our canvassers will be out and about in the local area up to 18 November.
- Our canvassers will not enter your house.
- They will wear a hi-viz orange vest.
- They carry council ID.
They will not ask questions about personal information.
We do not need financial information or dates of births etc. They just want to check the name of whoever is living at the property to ensure they stay registered to vote. If they are not already registered to vote they will be invited to register

They will leave a calling card if they visit a house and get no response
