Current and forthcoming elections in 2021
On Thursday 6 May 2021 the Essex County Council election will take place along with the Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner for Essex postponed from last May.
There will be polling across the whole of Uttlesford District.
Some areas will also have some additional local polls postponed from 2020.
The polling stations in these areas will therefore have more than 2 ballot papers.
- County Council ballot paper will be a white in colour - you are required to vote for one candidate only. There are 4 Electoral Divisions within Uttlesford.
- Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner ballot paper will be buff colour and is split in to 2 columns and you can give a second choice, though this should be different from your first choice in the first column.
- District and Parish Council ballot papers - you are required to vote for one candidate only (unless otherwise stated) at each of these by-elections. District Council ballot papers will be green and Parish Council ballot papers will be yellow.
- The Neighbourhood Planning Referendum ballot papers - these will be lilac and you will be required to vote only once - Yes or No
