Stansted Mountfitchet Neighbourhood Plan
The Stansted Mountfitchet Neighbourhood Plan is being compiled by local residents and the Parish Council. It establishes a vision for the evolution and long-term sustainability of Stansted Mountfitchet Parish and village. The plan sets out a vision for the future of the parish and planning policies which will be used to determine planning applications locally.
The Parish of Stansted Mountfitchet is located in the west of the Uttlesford District and is home to some 6,011 people. It is a uniquely situated village with a wide range of historic and modern buildings two primary schools, one high school and a railway station.

The Parish of Stansted Mountfitchet was designated as the Stansted Mountfitchet Neighbourhood Plan Area by Uttlesford District Council on 17 September 2015.
