Takeley Neighbourhood Plan
The parish of Takeley has been designated as a Neighbourhood Plan Development Area.
The Takeley Neighbourhood Plan is being compiled by local residents and Takeley Parish Council. It establishes a vision for the evolution and long-term sustainability of the parish. The plan sets out a vision for the future of the area and planning policies which will be used to determine planning applications locally.
Takeley is located in the south of the Uttlesford District and is home to more than 5,000 people. It is a uniquely situated area with a wide range of historic and modern buildings and including the Grade I Holy Trinity Church. Stansted Airport is located within the parish.

The Parish of Takeley was designated as the Takeley Neighbourhood Plan Area by Executive Decision of Uttlesford District Council on 29 September 2021.
