Environmental enforcement

We have adopted the government's enforcement concordat and will ensure our decisions on enforcement action are taken in accordance with the concordat, the Guide to Crown Prosecutors and other relevant Home Office advice.
We will, when necessary, take firm action against those who commit serious offences, or those who consistently flout the law.
What we do
The Enforcement Team can investigate a range of issues, including:
- abandoned vehicles
- dog fouling
- fly-posting
- fly-tipping
- graffiti
- litter
- noise nuisance
- bonfires
- untaxed vehicles
We also investigate vehicles illegally carrying waste, site waste management plans and carry out waste collection enforcement.
