Active Essex is the Physical Activity and Sport Partnership for Essex, Southend and Thurrock, and are one of 43 Active Partnerships in England who work collaboratively with local partners to ensure the power of physical activity and sport can transform lives.

Essex ActivAte

The Essex ActivAte holiday hub can help you to find resources to keep your children active and entertained over the school holidays.

Essex ActivAte is the new Holiday Activity and Food programme run by Active Essex in partnership with Essex County Council and funded by the Department for Education.
 

Delivering sport

If you are a club, organisation, group or individual delivering sport or physical activity in Essex, Southend and Thurrock you can use the Active Essex delivering sport resources  to find support, guidance, funding and general frameworks to ensure our residents have the best possible experience of sport and physical activity.
 

Active people, culture and skills

Active Essex helps to develop skills, achieve goals and maximise both individuals and organisations potential. It is important to promote the opportunities within the sector and help attract new investment by the industry in Essex.
